I've booked off the Monday to Wednesday for this, just fancy some time off work to be honest...make a proper day of it, visiting a few places along the way to the ground.

Take the not typo out.

You've said I am paranoid but haven't explained why, you're now telling me I'm anxious again without any explanation.

Why?

Re: Final home game - Manchester United - Tuesday 10th May (7:45pm)
Ive not said your paranoid about it without explaining it?

What?

Re: Final home game - Manchester United - Tuesday 10th May (7:45pm)
No, I speak to my boss then about it then email her.

So, you've not said I'm paranoid about it without explaining and now assuming I am anxious about it when I am not?

Do you want to attempt any explanation as to why you're doing that?

So she fills your holiday form in for you, or possibly says no you cant.

I understand your anxiety over a night game now.

Re: Final home game - Manchester United - Tuesday 10th May (7:45pm)
I don't.

I email the department secretary saying I am intending on having these days off after talking to my boss about it.

It's standard process for pretty much every permanent employee at every company ever I would have thought.

I'm surprised that you have to fill in a holiday form

Having to request a half day off seems a juxtaposition for such forthright characters.

I'm more surprised at the 'movers and shakers' on here that have to request a half day off.

Not that easy just to take your kids out of school, especially when their teacher's a Man Utd fan and knows full well that they'll be at the game.

My request for half day on the day of the game and the full day afterwards is going in this afternoon.

Re: Final home game - Manchester United - Tuesday 10th May (7:45pm)
Just take the day off afterwards?

It's not rocket science.
